Physical Installation

Follow the steps below to place your sensor in the soil and power it on.

Push the probe into the soil halfway between the edge of the pot and the base of the plant. Press until the soil line reaches the marker on the stem.

Connect the USB cable to the sensor and plug the other end into a USB power adapter or power bank.

Wait for the LED to turn solid blue — this means the sensor is on and broadcasting its setup network.

Connect to the Sensor

Your sensor is broadcasting a temporary Wi-Fi network. Connect to it so the app can find and configure it.

Open your phone's Settings → Wi-Fi.

Select PlantSensor-Setup from the list of available networks.

Return to this app. Your home network credentials and account will be sent to the sensor automatically.

Once configured, the sensor will restart and reconnect to your home network. The LED will turn green.
